The Retreat Hotel invites you to experience the history and serenity of Strathpeffer, a village renowned as a spa town in the Victorian era due to its healing sulphurous springs.
Our hotel features nine uniquely styled rooms, ranging from cozy standard accommodations to spacious premium rooms that can host up to four guests. While modern comforts are assured, such as en-suite bathrooms with baths or showers, we intentionally omit televisions to foster a restful atmosphere.
Strathpeffer Spa Village: Known for its healing sulphurous springs, Strathpeffer Spa Village boasts beautiful Victorian architecture and serene gardens. It’s a place to unwind and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.
Castle Leod: Visit the historic Castle Leod, home to the Mackenzie Clan for centuries. The castle offers guided tours of its well-preserved interiors and expansive grounds. Please note that the castle is not always open. It’s best to check online before making the journey there.
Strathpeffer Pavilion: This cultural hub hosts a variety of events, including concerts, exhibitions, and community gatherings. It’s a great place to experience local culture and arts.
